Pink Shoes

When I said I was going to start embracing the color pink, I wasn't kidding. I've been on the hunt for pink pieces that will compliment the rest of my small wardrobe. So far, in the past couple of months, I've acquired a chic pair of pants and a sweatshirt and this week this fabulous pair of d'Orsay pumps. What I'm loving about pink, regardless of the shade, is that it looks terrific next to my favorite color combo, which is black and white.
The weather this week was mild and spring-like so I was able to sport a short dress, which it looked terrific next to my pink pumps. Eventually, when the weather becomes even warmer, I will be able to wear this combo without a coat, but for now, I let my trench coat complete this look with a touch of class and sophistication. And for the hat and earrings, hey, a couple of fun accessories can always be a great idea when wearing a classic look.
