Wild On Wild

August 24, 2018

I'm sure you have noticed that Instagram is going wild about the leopard print. Almost every fashion house, blogger and fashionista are showcasing their wild spots. I personally love and wear leopard print regardless whether it's trending or not. I also love and wear other wild prints such as zebra and snake, because they are simply hero prints in my wardrobe. They can be worn as neutrals or as a touch of fun for quiet outfits.
Today, I decided to share this photo-shoot taken this Summer, but with Autumn in mind. I wanted to wear browns and neutral colors but at the same time, I wanted for my outfit to be a tad more busy than I've been posting lately - yes!! I was craving for wild prints.

As you can see, I not only wore a couple of animal prints to make this look stand out, I also took with me the cutest Lucite box bag which has a fun mother pearl/swirl pattern. Obviously, the fun didn't stop with the prints! I also decided to bring an unexpected touch with my multi-strand necklace which added a pop of a cool color to this warm hued look. Now, my camel t-shirt was the one that bonded all these pieces together. It's always a good idea to wear a solid colored piece when wearing several patterns in order to bond them together or in many cases, break the patterns.
And talking about patterns, I'm still looking for the perfect midi leopard skirt and preferable vintage or from sustainable brands.

WHAT I WORE:
T-shirt: Everlane/ Skirt: vintage/Shoes: Jimmy Choo/Lucite Bag: Vintage/Necklace: Vintage/Sunglasses: YSL.

THANKS FOR VISITING! 🐆
