Dungarees and Lace

Most of the times overalls are worn with sneakers and comfy t-shirts because, those pieces together make perfect sense. However, this past Thursday I wanted to add a little bit of lady-like touch to these 80's Levis dungarees by wearing them with a 1950s lace bib shirt and feminine accessories. I must mention that I noticed that many women after they pass their 30s, they don't care for wearing overalls anymore and I respect that. In my opinion they are classic and they can look great at any age as long they are styled accordingly...disagree?

La mayoría de veces nos ponemos los overoles con zapatillas de lona y una camiseta confortable, porque parece que esta es la forma más lógica de usarlos. Pero este Jueves pasado, me decidí llevarlos diferente y les di un toque menos casual y mas femenino acompañándolos con una camisa de blonda antigua de los 50's y accesorios femeninos. Quiero mencionar que yo he notado  que hay muchas chicas que después que pasan de la edad de los 30s, ya no les gusta ponerse esta clase de ropa. Yo pienso que prendas como esta se ven maravillosas en chicas de todas las edades, siempre y cuando se combinen con accesorios adecuados a la edad...me dan la razón?

 At the end of the day, I went shopping for some vintage pieces to wear this summer...yes, maybe another gingham dress? :-)
