What I Wore In March

Gingham Dress
.
Here is a recap of my outfits from March. I wish I had more, but this month I had more migraines than usual, so I had to put myself in the dark room a quiet few times. But, I am very excited for the month of April and of course, I'm thinking positively. I Love the fact that the weather will be warmer and I will be able to wear shorts and more dresses.

Happily In Grey

Layered Outfit

I finally reached the point where I feel completely comfortable wearing the color grey (more looks here  and here ), and now has become an important color in my wardrobe. In this opportunity, I decided to wear two pieces in this color layered with a silver cami in order to keep the layering smooth yet interesting.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend and may God continue blessing you.

Modern Vintage

How to wear overalls

One of the things I love about vintage clothing is the uniqueness, perhaps these perfect broken in overalls. While shopping for vintage goods at Design Archives Emporium here in North Carolina (Greensboro), I found these rusted color overalls hanging in a corner and I believe they were calling my name. I love clothes with movement, so I knew these babies were right up my alley. Next thing I knew I was wearing them with a couple of modern pieces in order to update their look.

Maritime

Flared jeans outfit

I just can't get enough of the nautical look (more here) these days. It's such a classic look and it can be styled so many different ways. Early in the week I was in the mood for this particular style since I now have the perfect navy and red clutch to wear with it.

Western Tuxedo…

All Denim Street Style

Canadian Tuxedo, country tuxedo or however you want to call it, it's what I'm wearing today.
Denim on denim has always been a look that I enjoy wearing, and this time I decided to give it a cowboy flare with a vintage western vest and hat.

All Black With a Touch Of Color

Sometimes all we need is one colorful detail to bring a black outfit to a fun level. Last year I wore this bright pink scarf with another all black look but in a casual way (here), and I completely loved the combo. This time I recreated the look but with a little more dressy feel by wearing my leather-sleeved dress (also worn here) with my sandal booties.

Gingham Dress and Ankle Strap Heels

Outfit with gingham dress

Spring is finally here, therefore it's time for flowy printed dresses and open heels. Yesterday, the weather was around the middle 70s, so I decided to wear my vintage gingham dress (also worn here with Converse) with a very lady-like style ankle heels and animal inspired accessories.

Is It St. Patrick's Day Yet?

Saint Patrick's Day Outfit

It is not St. Patrick's Day yet, however, I already felt like adding some green in my outfit. Today I decided to wear my gingham green shirt (also worn here with orange pants) with a black look and nude accents.

Cat Eyes And Overalls

Valentino Rockstud Cat eye sunglasses

Of all the shapes of sunglasses available, cat-eye is the most suitable for my square-shaped face and that's why you'll see me wearing this style more often. I desperately "needed" a lighter frame color of cat-eye style, so after doing almost six months research and trying on many pairs, I finally found a perfect style (with cool studs), color, size and very light weight (no migraines)
Well, I decided to wear them today with my old overalls (also worn here) and nude accessories and by the way, I think I'm going through a nude color phase right now…can you tell?

Feeling Flirty Wearing Socks With Heels

Outfit with socks and pumps

I always considered socks more utilitarian than fashionable, but today I felt like wearing socks in a trendy way. I completely enjoyed the look of these delicate socks with my nude pumps. I think the key for me is to stick with socks of nude or lighter shades in order to prevent a stumpy look.

Round Toe Nude Pumps

Christian Louboutin Nude Pumps

I'm a huge fan of nude shoes and this week I finally received the perfect round toe pumps. You have no idea how content I am with these shoes and the style feels so refreshing, since pointed toe pumps are the only style I have been wearing lately.
I decided to wear them for the first time with a fitted pencil skirt, in order to match the classic lines of the shoes.
