Preppy With Basics

After all the holiday shopping, cooking, migraines (yeah, I get those) and dressing up, the time to sit back and enjoy the rest of my presents has finally arrived. I was very blessed this Christmas, since I had the chance to spend time with my family again and knowing that everyone was safe made my day. However, one of the material Christmas blessings I received this year was this warm puffer vest by Patagonia. I've been wearing it with jeans and sneakers around the house, however, the other day, I decided to wear it with other basic pieces for me such a camel coat and a striped turtleneck . I wanted to make this outfit to look more preppy, so I wore my shiny nude pumps and dressed up the vest with a leopard belt.

Después de todas las compras, las cocinadas, migrañas (si, padezco de esas) y arregladas para las fiestas, finalmente el tiempo para relajarme y disfrutar mis regalos llegó. Otra vez tuve la dicha de pasar las navidades al lado de mi familia, y sabiendo que todos están bien es el mejor regalo que yo puedo recibir. Sin embargo una de las bendiciones materiales Navideñas que recibí este año fue este chaleco de burbujas de la marca Patagonia, el cual no me lo he quitado desde el día en que abrí el regalo. Me lo he puesto con vaqueros y tenis para andar en la casa, pero el otro día me decidí ponérmelo con otras prendas básicas come ser un abrigo color camello y una cuello de tortuga rayada . Le di al a este conjunto un toque mas formal agregándole tacones color carne y un cinturón de leopardo, los cuales combinaron muy bien con el abrigo.
