Diamond Print in a 60's Dress

September 15, 2012

As soon I saw this dress hanging in a vintage store window for less than $40 I knew I wanted it. Not only because it is from the 1960s (favorite fashion era) or its price, but because I also found the diamond print interesting and we never know...it might comeback in style again, however, it seemed to me a tad clown-inspired and that is an unexpected/fun detail that I don't mind in a black and white dress. I believe this print it makes it a little more unique. To finalize the look, I added my leather bow clip and put rabito cover on my Iphone and, VOILA!!!  Am I making you smile yet?

  1. It looks wonderful on you. Sadly, with my ample boobage I can't pull anything like this off...so no 60s fashions for me, no drop waits dressed, no rollnecks....
But I guess I can always admire it on others. :)

  2. Believe me, I know where you comming from. I am 34D and just couple years ago found a bra that minimize the size of my chest. It is by Soma, strapless bandeau with underwire. It does wonders keeping my girls looking smaller. I still can't wear princess cut style, they make me look pregnant not matter what bra I wear :-(

  3. Are you serious???? I would NEVER in a million years think your boobage is that size. I'm 34E...I tried minimising bras, but didn't really do much for me. Maybe I'll look for that one by Soma.

    1. And when I was in my twenties I used to be 34DD lol. But running 5-6 miles few times a week keep them smaller. No choice but fight the genes :-(
