Mix Patterns And Color-Block

March 3, 2017

Red with pink street style

It's starting to smell like Spring time, everywhere I go...Yes!!! the time for wearing lightweight and flowy fabrics is here. I can't complain about my North Carolina. It's the perfect state weather-wise. Every season is perfect and long enough to get the most of it and short enough to never feel too overwhelming. And, even when the weather surprises us in the middle of a season, it's a refreshing change.
My look today is obviously very Spring-friendly - it was styled based on my mood, which was influenced 100% by the gorgeous weather. As you can see, I involved two styling techniques in this look. I've combined a fun mix of prints and also a striking color-block. What I love the most about this outfit is that I was able to bring my camo print bomber to Spring mode by pairing it with a floral silk scarf, a flowy skirt and feminine heels. This goes to show you that every color or print is wearable all year round; you just have to think outside the box with your imagination and make it happen.
