Hi lovelies! I'm sharing today just a few photos and an Instagram post from this past weekend. My husband and I started celebrating the 4th of July a few days earlier, and of course, wine country was the best place to start. We visited a vineyard called Elkin Creek which is about 40 minutes away from our home. By the way, this vineyard has a wonderful Viognier wine which is perfect to enjoy in Summer. It was a very humid day and because of the hot weather, I decided to put on the coolest and most practical dress I own. I kept things simple with this outfit because of the casual location and the rugged terrain. This is the type of situation when a simple cotton shirt dress comes in more than handy. A striped shirtdress, in my opinion, is a must-have for every fashionista. I also wore a pair of super comfortable sandals, which, by the way, their brand is becoming my favorite for flat sandals.
We completely loved our evening there and, of course, we enjoyed a wonderful glass of wine. From this particular vineyard I really got an appreciation for their Viognier...It was outstanding! A vineyard that has a great wine, great location and a creek is a gem, for sure.
If you are in the USA, I hope you have a wonderful 4th of July. I'm personally so thankful to this country for being so good to me and my family. I couldn't ask for a better place to live!
