Sunday Brunch And Stroll

March 29, 2018

Hello everyone! I'm very happy sharing this look with you because I was able to wear two fabulous and statement prints together. You know me, mixing prints is one of my favorite stylings.
Today, I'm wearing a brand new skirt that was gifted to me by Brooks Brothers clothing retailer along with other pieces that I'll wear soon and show in a future post. I selected this skirt because of the print - it's classic, bold but far from overwhelming. I also love the fit-n-flare style, which I also find classic and extremely feminine.

The day of this shoot, the weather was a tad warmer than it has been the past few weeks. It was around the mid-60's so I was able to get away with going bare legged, but not bare arms yet. I needed to wear a transitional look that allowed me to enjoy my skirt and yet keep me warm. I decided to compliment my mixed pattern with denim and natural material accessories such as straw and wood. These additions injected a bohemian touch to my preppy and girly look. This ensemble would be perfect for lunch or (Easter?) brunch (sitting on the patio would be ideal) with your friends and family. For these type of occasions, I love to look polished, but comfortable; playful and yet timeless.

By the way,  for my next "Monday Work Outfit" I'll be showing you another transitional look with this skirt and belt. I changed the styling completely around this skirt and made it look perfect for work.
You really don't want to miss it, so if you haven't subscribed to my blog, you might want to go ahead and take the plunge. I only send a couple of blog updates a week in a very simple, short and sweet email.

WHAT I WORE:
Skirt: Brooks Brothers/Denim jacket: Levi's (vintage)/Shoes: Roger Vivier/Belt: Vintage/Bag: Joseph D'arezzo/Sunglasses: Chanel (vintage)/Necklace: Vintage.

THANKS FOR VISITING! 🌷
