I don't remember when the last time was that I owned a pair of denim shoes... I just don't know how I went for so long without owning a pair. This year, my obsession for the wedge espadrilles is making me reconsider my shoe wardrobe. My feet have found love, or maybe is a summer fling, but it's so strong that I'm afraid my other shoes will have to fight hard for a chance to be showcased again.
These denim beauties arrived early in the week and I was so excited that I immediately came up with an outfit to wear them around town and, of course, a photo-shoot.
Since the denim trend is still going strong, I decided to compliment my espadrilles with an indigo Tencel tunic and a fun bag with denim details. My versatile red pants (see more looks here, here and here) and cute vintage belt not only added a strong contrast, they also gave this look to a nautical-like style.
