High-Waist Wide-Leg Cropped Jeans.

Bandana Tie

High-waisted jeans can be universally flattering, however, they sometimes can be a bit of a challenge for petite gals like me, but that should not discourage us from enjoying this classic style.
For example, in my case, I have to be very careful about what I'm going to wear on my upper body when sporting high-waisted everything. I wear a 34D brazier, therefore the illusion of having a short waist is inevitable. I try to keep my upper body simple and wear only a few statement pieces, in order to steer way from a stumpy and crowded look.

I'm only a 5'4" tall gal, but that fact does not steer me away from playing with fun proportions. If you noticed in this particular look, I'm wearing a pair of high-waist wide-leg cropped jeans, which style sounds like a mouthful and also can be a bit of a challenge to wear. When I bought these vintage Levi's jeans, I knew they were going to be an interesting piece to play around. I've worn these jeans in different ways (see other looks: here and here), but so far, this is my favorite styling. I wore only two accessories which are the hat and a bandana made into a tie, and that was enough to keep the look interesting and yet fuss-free.
